To the editor, President Trump’s "Big Beautiful Bill" has numerous issues for North Dakota. Unfortunately, there is a lesser-known provision that will cause additional harm. The Section 45V hydrogen credit, and other energy tax provisions, will be cut short. If a hydrogen project does not start construction before Dec. 31, 2027, it will not be eligible.
