LETTER: Saanich must take action on global warming before it's too late

I wholeheartedly agree with the opinions expressed by Karin Hertel and Dr. Shannon Houston in the July 8 edition of the Saanich News, in which they both urge our government to transition to clean, sustainable energy sources instead of pouring billions of dollars into fossil fuel projects like LNG and more oil pipelines, and mega dams like Site E, which will only exacerbate the effects of the climate crisis we find ourselves in.
