Letter: People should respect, not desecrate the flag

Dear Editor, I read the Globe on April 1, 2026 and the rally article made me upset when I got to the part when I saw the picture of our American flag being desecrated. When I was Cub Master of Boy Scout Pack 113, we talked to the scouts about proper flag etiquette that they had to learn to be able to become an Eagle Scout.
