Letter: Not outlandish to expect migrants to follow rules | Honolulu Star-Advertiser

In response to the recent letter about immigration, I would say that it is not irrational to require immigrants to abide by our country’s laws (“Hawaii has a duty to back immigrant population,” Star-Advertiser, May 5). If they are seeking asylum from political persecution, legal documentation can help the government in assisting them with necessities.
