Let’s submit DOGE to some of the scrutiny it applies to its fellow government programs. Elon Musk promised DOGE would save American taxpayers “at least $2 trillion” by cutting “waste, fraud and abuse.” As of this writing, the DOGE website claims $190 billion in savings, or less than 10% of the goal, and less than 3% of the federal budget.
