Letter: Detroit Lakes City Council is wrong not to fly the Minnesota flag

Time Magazine recently recognized Detroit Lakes as one of the “World’s Greatest Places to Visit in 2025,” bringing thousands of new visitors to our community in search of trolls and yet Mayor Brenk and council members Caulfield, Dallman, Deraney and Zeman voted to discontinue flying Minnesota’s state flag for all to see.
