- Lone reportedly maintained direct contact with 26/11 masterminds Hafeez Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, while recruiting illegal migrants by providing fake Aadhaar cards and weapons for attacks in crowded areas.
- Officials are currently questioning the eight arrested suspects to determine the plot's scope, including evidence of reconnaissance targeting sensitive locations such as the Red Fort and religious sites.
- This arrest stems from a high-priority investigation triggered by a February 8 Central Industrial Security Force complaint, with agencies suspecting the module operated under support from Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI.
