Let Municipalities Just Help Their Poor Residents

Municipalities often want to support poor residents, but according to Jasper J. van Dijk and Julia van Rijn, they cannot do this in a way that actually helps due to unclear rules.

The job reform's savings on efforts for vulnerable unemployed and vulnerable young people could be fatal, according to a majority of municipal employment politicians. A minority, on the other hand, believes that fewer requirements could give vulnerable unemployed people a much-needed breathing space that could make their way back into the job market easier.
