Africa Looks to China as Beneficial While US Imposes Tariffs, Aid and Visa Cuts

LESOTHO, JUL 26 – Lesotho's economic growth is projected to fall to 0.5% by 2026 due to US aid cuts, 50% tariffs on textiles, and declining regional revenues, the African Development Bank says.

Africa favours China as US relationship deteriorates due to disturbing pattern that ‘inflicts harm but expects loyalty’, analysts say.
