- At IFA Berlin 2026, Lenovo showcased the Project AeroBlade, a 14-inch ultraportable laptop weighing 1.83 pounds and measuring under 10mm thick with a fanless design.
- The device employs Active Flow, a solid-state thermal solution developed by Frore Systems using AirJet Mini modules that vibrate at ultrasonic levels to generate back pressure and pull air through the chassis.
- Lenovo claims the AeroBlade achieves performance comparable to its 2025 ThinkPad X1 Carbon while providing MacBook Air-like silence through active cooling that prevents thermal throttling.
- Alongside the AeroBlade, Lenovo debuted Project Swan, a concept laptop with a screen expanding horizontally from 14 inches to 17 inches, creating a 16:9 desktop replacement for productivity work.
- Neither concept has a confirmed release date, as Lenovo uses such prototypes to test experimental designs before commercialization, following the path of the earlier ThinkBook Plus Gen 6.
