Lenexa’s Henderson Companies adds pair of leaders in venue sector

Lenexa, Kansas-based Henderson Companies, the parent company of Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions, appointed two leaders within its venue sector, which specializes in the design and construction of large-scale, multipurpose facilities nationwide.  Bridget Lowe has joined the firm as convention center practice director and Jason Kartak has been promoted to entertainment practice director.  Lowe brings 15 years of industry experience to her new role, where she will lead Henderson’s convention center practice. Her responsibilities include overseeing client experience, technical quality, innovation, business development, and employee engagement. Before joining Henderson, Lowe served as a principal at a global architecture firm and the principal and chief marketing officer at a national architecture, planning, and design firm. She succeeds Russ Murdock, who remains with Henderson as the venue sector’s technical director.
