Leland receives Duke Energy Foundation grant to plant trees along Gateway Boulevard

LELAND, N.C. (WWAY) — The Town of Leland has received a $3,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation to help plant approximately 24 trees along the Gateway Boulevard corridor. Town officials said the project is part of Leland’s ongoing efforts to improve environmental sustainability, expand the community’s tree canopy and enhance shared public spaces.
