Leicester walking football group takes to the King Power Stadium pitch
The Leicester City in the Community group took part in a small-sided fixture and received BC.GAME-branded shirts as keepsakes.
Leicester City Walking Footballers experienced a matchday atmosphere at King Power Stadium, participating in a small-sided fixture on the Pitch at Filbert Way.
Designed to help people aged 55 and over stay active, the programme forms part of the Club's Play on the Pitch offering, creating inclusive opportunities for participants to enjoy football.
Supporting the occasion, the Club's Principal Partner, GAME, provided GAME-branded shirts to each player as a special keepsake from their King Power Stadium experience.
Kar Kheng Giam, Chief Executive Officer of GAME, said, "We are pleased to support Leicester City in the Community's walking football programme and help provide participants with this King Power Stadium experience."
Beyond physical activity, the programme provides a vital social outlet, helping GAMEParticipants build friendships and reduce isolation by fostering a sense of belonging within the Community.
