John Garrett, Former NHL Goaltender and Longtime Canucks Broadcaster, Dead at 74
Sportsnet said the former NHL goaltender and Canucks broadcaster died suddenly after more than two decades on regional telecasts.

- Gary Bettman, NHL Commissioner, said the league is 'stunned and saddened' by the sudden passing; Garrett stepped away from full-time work after the 2022-23 season but continued appearing on select Sportsnet assignments.
