The trade association for legal gambling sites is taking Meta to court. According to the Licensed Dutch Online Gambling Providers (VNLOK), nine out of ten gambling advertisements on Facebook originate from illegal sites. Illegal providers are also said to advertise heavily on Instagram. The association has been complaining about this for some time.
