Lee Kiefer won the individual foil world title for the first time in her 12th try.

As in 2019, florettist Pauline Ranvier won the world silver medal this Friday in Tbilisi, Georgia. The 31-year-old Parisienne, 15th world shooter, was unable to do anything in the final against double Olympic champion and number one world champion, American Lee Kiefer (4-15).
