The National Geographical Institute (IGN) begins a new stage with the appointment of Laura Barbas Calvo as Director General, a milestone for an institution with more than a century and a half of trajectory. The inauguration ceremony, held this Thursday in Madrid, has been presided over by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Oscar Puente, on which the agency depends.
