Members of the Latvian Seimas believe that the entire Rail Baltic project should be redesigned and made more affordable, as it will not be possible to find additional money for high-speed rail from the state budget in the coming years.
In order to connect the Baltics with Central Europe, a new high-speed line will be created. It will reach from Poland to Finland at the end. The EU is investing billions.
