(WLAX/WEUX) - Lasker Jewelers is warning People about a fake jewelry scam happening in Eau Claire. They say multiple people have been scammed into purchasing fake, but realistic-looking, gold jewelry at gas stations. Scammers approach the victims pretending to need urgent gas money, offering the jewelry in exchange. Lasker says it's been happening since this summer and has cost people thousands of dollars.
