The Equality Department of the Lasarte-Oria City Council has just launched a legal advice service for women. The aim is to provide users with legal information and specialized assistance from a feminist perspective. The service aims to promote care based on "closeness, empathy and communication", thus "empowering women" so that each user can act "autonomously". The Irule lawyers' group will be responsible for providing this service.
