The City Council of the capital thus complies with the decision issued last week by Judge Ángel Teba García to reinstate the chief commissioner in his post, from which he was dismissed in 2019. Saavedra Brichis thus replaces his successor, Carmen Delia Martín Mederos, who resigned from his post on May 5.
