Landlords ended the year on solid ground, with profits at a six-year high and rental yields at their strongest in a decade, according to the latest Landlord Trends Q3 2025 research from Pegasus Insight. Nearly nine in 10 (89%) landlords made a profit from lettings, the highest level since 2019.  Of those, 17% reported a large profit and 72% saw a small profit.  Only 7% broke even and a small number made a loss.
