Land Hessen promises emergency aid against cancellations of Volksfesten

After the last amok rides in Germany, a heated discussion about the safety of festivals has arisen. In Hesse some festivals have already been cancelled because of too high security costs. The country wants to support the municipalities more financially. A first step, says the Stadtbund.
