Lake Tahoe woman admits trying to flee deputies

A Lake Tahoe woman who led deputies on a chase, requiring them to deploy a grappler to stop her admitted to a felony count of attempted eluding on Monday. Stephanie Nicole Peterson, 43, faces a maximum of up to six years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Attorneys are recommending the sentence be suspended when she reappears on April 27.
