PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A South Peoria man was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years behind bars in connection with a traffic stop last year that led to the discovery of drugs and a gun. Erik Alexander, 58, was sentenced in Peoria County Circuit Court on the single count of armed violence.
