On Monte Pizzocolo (1581m) on the western shore of Lake Garda two holidaymakers and dog had to be rescued from mountain distress. After the ascent in the afternoon the Germans were probably also completely exhausted because of the high temperatures and could not start the descent any more. The fire brigade Brescia brought the uninjured tourists into the valley by helicopter.
