Lacombe considering more housing options

City planners will seek broader housing options and development flexibility, with four reports due by year-end and public input set to start this summer.

Lacombe residents, businesses and developers will be asked for their input as the city looks to update its land use regulations to reflect emerging housing and development trends. The city will look at adding more housing diversity potentially by allowing more secondary and garden suites.
