Labor Day 5K runners had sun and wind at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse - The Coastland Times

Runners in the second annual Labor Day 5K at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse enjoyed sunshine and mild temperatures. However, runners ran against winds blowing 12 miles an hour and gusting to 18 at the race start at 7:32 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025. Some 153 runners signed up for the race.
