Elijah Archuleta, 23, the La Junta man who made state-wide headlines back in November 2025 after a joint operation between the La Junta Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced what they called a “major drug bust,” appeared at the Otero County Combined Courts Thursday, Jan. 22, for a plea hearing, which was ultimately delayed until March, 2026.
