Kyle Busch helped fund more than 100 IVF births before his death: ‘The legacy of life’
The couple’s Bundle of Joy Fund has awarded 178 grants and $2.3 million to help families afford fertility treatment.
Two-Time NASCAR champion Kyle Busch died at 41 on Thursday after severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, leaving behind a legacy of helping 111 babies enter the world through his IVF fund.
After battling infertility for over a decade with six rounds of IVF and multiple miscarriages, Kyle and Samantha Busch conceived their two children, Brexton and Lennix, then founded the Bundle of Joy Fund in 2015.
The foundation has awarded 178 grants totaling $2.3 million, with individual awards of $20,000 helping families cover egg retrieval costs running about $15,000 to $20,000.
Grant recipients expressed deep gratitude, with one family stating "Happy tears were flowing, and we just could not be more thankful," after learning about their award directly from Samantha Busch.
The Bundle of Joy Fund remains active beyond Kyle's death, with 111 babies already born through its support and more families continuing to apply for grants to pursue fertility treatment.
