Kyiv's heating and water supply facilities currently have about 700 power generators, which alone are not enough to supply the city in the event of a complete power outage. A city official said that the installation of autonomous power plants is necessary to provide backup power to the city's largest and most critical infrastructure, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
