KY 819 In Lyon County To Close For Bridge Replacement
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning to close KY 819 at mile point 2.45 in Lyon County starting Monday, January 12. The existing bridge over Panther Creek, which is located along KY 819 north of KY 93, will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge. Transportation engineers anticipate the new bridge will be open to traffic by mid-March, weather permitting, followed by final paving in the spring. Motorists are asked to self-detour.
