Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), Numan Kurtulmuş, requested names from political party groups for the 51-person special commission to be established regarding the PKK's disarmament process.
Parliamentary Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş has requested names from political parties for the "Terrorism-Free Turkey Commission" by July 31st. According to a letter Kurtulmuş sent to political party groups, the AK Party will be represented on the 51-person Terrorism-Free Turkey Commission with 21 deputies, the CHP with 10, the DEM Party and MHP with four each, and the İYİ Party and Yeni Yol with three each.
