On December 19th of last year, the Kumei Kokutei Association (Chairman Masaaki Okumura) donated 700,000 yen to the Prefectural International Exchange and Human Resources Development Foundation, hoping that the money would be used to support human resource development and tuition fees within the prefecture. The total amount of donations the association has made to the foundation since 1972 has now reached 21,460,000 yen.
