Kristin Cavallari Says She Makes Her Kids Fly Coach Because It’s "Good for Them"
Kristin Cavallari says her children fly coach while she flies first class to teach them financial responsibility and encourage them to work for what they want.
On the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, Kristin Cavallari explained her parenting philosophy: requiring her three children to fly coach while she travels first class to teach financial responsibility.
Cavallari, who shares Camden Jack , Jaxon , and Saylor with ex Jay Cutler, believes it is "good for them" to know they must work for life's luxuries rather than receive everything freely.
Last summer, both boys launched small businesses to earn money. "One of my boys was washing people's windows, and the other one was washing people's garbage cans," Cavallari shared.
After her sons mentioned friends saw clips of her discussing personal dating topics, Cavallari decided to "pull back" on sharing such details during podcast appearances.
Cavallari encourages entrepreneurship among her children, telling them "This is my money" to reinforce self-reliance. She maintains there is "no one size fits all" for mothers balancing business and family.
