Swedish Police Identify 17-Year-Old Girl as Victim in School Sword Attack

- Police chief Tommy Alriksson said investigators are seeking a motive, stating "We are looking into several leads... We are trying, of course, to remain as open-minded as possible." Media reports indicate the suspect had a previous assault conviction and a now-removed TikTok account.
- Officers have conducted around 80 interviews and are planning to question nearly 450 staff and students. Minnea, a Brinell student, told SVT: "It's terrible to think that someone you sat at the same table with, someone you talked to, is suddenly dead."
- Sweden has suffered previous educational institution attacks, including a 2015 incident in Trollhattan and attacks in Orebro and Malmo. Authorities added that "The police investigation is proceeding at full speed" regarding this latest violence.
