Kremlin says weapons and ammunition deliveries to Ukraine from US are continuing
UKRAINE, JUL 14 – The Kremlin confirmed US arms deliveries to Ukraine include Patriot missiles to strengthen air defenses amid ongoing Russian attacks, with costs covered partly by the European Union.
- On July 14 in Moscow, the Kremlin said US arms and ammunition deliveries to Kyiv have continued and “are still continuing,” framing remarks about supplying Patriot air defence missiles.
- Axios reported on July 13 that President Trump is expected to announce a plan to arm Ukraine with offensive weapons, a sharp departure from his earlier stance, citing two sources.
- Not disclosing missile numbers, President Trump noted the US will be reimbursed for Patriot missiles by the European Union, and added `talks nice but then he bombs everybody in the evening`, while Patriot systems are among the most advanced surface-to-air missile platforms.
