Knights give back through firefighter equipment donations
New rescue equipment, chainsaws and emergency lighting are headed to four area fire departments thanks to a $6,500 donation from the Carson City-based Knights of Columbus Council 2198. The local Knights of Columbus have held the Bill Fife/Dan Fenn Memorial Golf Outing at Huckleberry Creek Golf Course in Pewamo each September for the past nine years. Fife and Fenn were both active Knight members and supporters of the community.
