Following the knife attack yesterday on the emergency room doctor and security guard at Şanlıurfa Balıklıgöl State Hospital, a work stoppage is being held today upon the call of the Şanlıurfa Medical Chamber.
Balıklıgöl State Hospital was shaken by a knife attack last night. A man identified as İ.H.K., who allegedly suffered from psychological issues, first attacked security guard Harun Polat and then Deputy Chief Physician Dr. İsmail Aydoğdu with a knife. The injured were being treated at the hospital, and the attacker was apprehended with the weapon.
