125 children and leaders from KLJ Balen had to abruptly end their camp in Plombières, near Liège, following a serious incident on Wednesday evening. KLJ Balen decided last night to end the summer camp in the Walloon municipality of Plombières prematurely, after several members of the leadership team became victims in an incident involving a local resident. The person in question has been arrested; the camp members were not involved in the incident. KLJ Balen is cleaning up the camp today and returning home this afternoon.
The man was reportedly arrested on the spot by the police, the Verviers Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation.
