Wall Street's leading indexes closed in the red for the third straight day as inflation concerns dampened risk appetite. Several semiconductor companies were among the losers. Swedish payments company Klarna also had its second-worst trading day yet after its interim report.
Klarna was among the decliners on New York stock exchanges on Tuesday. The Swedish buy-now-pay-later service lowered its annual revenue forecast from $4.3 billion to $4.1 to $4.2 billion. Shortly after the opening, Klarna was trading nearly 20 percent lower.
Hardware store Home Depot reported results on Tuesday.
