Players from the Kiunga Rural Volleyball Association (KRVA) have made history after crossing the international border for the first time to participate in friendly volleyball matches in Merauke, West Papua Province of Indonesia. The historic sporting exchange saw the Kiunga-based boys and girls teams (Kiunga Makau) compete against Merauke’s top volleyball side, Rajawali Team 1 and Team 2, during matches played over the weekend and on Thursday.
