Kisumu Port undergoes major expansion to boost cargo handling capacity

Kenya: The largest inland waterways port in the east African region ‘Kisumu Port’ is undergoing through a major expansion. The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is moving to increase cargo handling capacity at the port and is also strengthening the region’s transport corridor.  As per the sources, the main works include the extension of the port’s quay from 262 meters to 392 meters.
