Kingston today unveiled the IronKey D500S hardware-encrypted USB flash drive, which meets FIPS 140-3 Level 3 security validation. The drive offers on-device hardware encryption meeting XTS-AES 256-bit. The drive also offers an industry-first dual hidden partition option; and a crypto-erase password option (a decryption password that causes the drive to destroy its data).
