Kings shut out Jets for their 1st home win of season
- Tuesday night in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Kings blanked the Winnipeg Jets 3-0 at Crypto.com Arena.
- The Kings moved Joel Armia to the top line and reunited Mikey Anderson with Drew Doughty, changes that had immediate on-ice returns as Armia assisted the opening goal.
- Adrian Kempe reached 200 NHL goals in 644 games with his sixth this season, while Drew Doughty set the Kings' defenseman scoring record with an empty-net goal.
- The result gave the Kings two points with their first home win of the season and third regulation victory, while Winnipeg dropped its first road game in five tries and the Kings' penalty kill stopped all five penalties.
- Looking ahead, the Kings will host Florida on Thursday while the Jets visit San Jose on Friday, with Jets captain Adam Lowry making his season debut after hip surgery.
