King Charles III’s Documentary Sets Out His Philosophy for Saving the Planet
The documentary reveals King Charles III’s lifelong harmony philosophy and environmental efforts, with a March book republication and a premiere at Windsor Castle.
- On February 6 Prime Video will release Finding Harmony: A King's Vision in more than 240 countries and territories, produced with The King's Foundation and Amazon MGM Studios as the King's first streaming documentary.
- The film traces the origins of King Charles III's harmony philosophy, examining its evolution from his 2010 book Harmony: A New Way Of Looking At Our World, while HarperCollins will republish it in March.
- Using archive home movies and new filming, the documentary interweaves footage from Highgrove, Balmoral, Dumfries House, and Home Farm, featuring intimate scenes and narration by Kate Winslet.
- At Windsor Castle the King and Queen will attend the premiere, which Buckingham Palace says may be the first global movie premiere at a royal residence, and a palace spokesman said the film is not a conventional royal documentary.
- The film portrays King Charles III as unwavering in his environmental campaigning despite decades of criticism, revisits 1986 archive footage of his plant-talking remarks, and stresses biodiversity loss urging rapid action.
