A 36-year-old man was shot dead on Wednesday night, April 1, in Harlingen City. Harlingen police were reportedly shot at around 8:43 p.m. in the Jackson Street area. Upon arrival, officers along with staff from the Harlingen Fire Department located the victim and provided immediate medical care. He was then referred to a local hospital, where he is stable. The case remains under active investigation.
