Rwanda has been awarded $100 million (over 144 billion Frw) to help improve public transportation in the City of Kigali. The money was approved by the World Bank Board of Directors and will be disbursed through the International Development Association (IDA), to support the implementation of the ‘Rwanda Urban Mobility Improvement (RUMI)’ project, which aims to provide environmentally friendly solutions to transportation.
