Kielce defeated Veszprem 36:35 in the 11th round of the Handball Champions League after a fierce fight and a goal by Piotr Jarosiewicz in the dying moments of the game in front of their home fans. Aleks Vlah scored two goals for the Polish team, and goalkeeper Klemen Ferlin made eight saves. Gašper Marguč did not score for Veszprem.
