- After making several passes, the suspects approached the victims asking about Apple Pay before grabbing a cash box containing roughly $50, police said. One suspect displayed a black firearm.
- Authorities identified the suspects as about 14 and 11 years old, both wearing balaclava-type face masks and black shirts. They fled toward Dorchester Street.
- Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn condemned the 'brazen crime,' stating the robbery violated the 'innocence' of the neighborhood and reflected 'serious public safety issues.' Flynn called for increased police presence.
